This region stretches on the eastern part of the Czech Republic, and it's the region of many valleys and hills with many possibilities for active relaxation. Almost in every town, there are sporting grounds, you can play tennis, or use the many offers for cycling. There is the possibility to fly on a rogallo or on an ultra light airplane. The mountain rivers are accessible for rafting and you can go fishing, swimming, or you try other water sports like yachting or water skiing on the dams. This region offers also much folklore, cultural, and historical sights. You can find many manor houses, wooden churches, village cottages with folk architecture as well as look-out-towers in this region. You can drink from natural springs on many places. The center of this region is the town Ostrava.
